All tours are to be treated as outlines only, depending on the interests of the group, weather, road closures, etc., changes can be made. I always make sure that any variation is only in the interests of the group having the very best possible time.
Also note that frequent restroom stops are built into the itinerary.
All Creatures Tour
After collecting you from your hotel in York, Leeds or Harrogate (call for other locations) we head toward the spectacular Yorkshire Dales National Park which is where James Herriot worked as a vet. We tour through the incredible landscapes he knew so well and we visit some of the real places that are instantly recognisable locations featured in the brilliant new All Creatures Great & Small series starring Nicholas Ralph, Rachel Shenton, Callum Woodhouse and Samuel West.
A timeless landscape which seems to belong in another age
If you have seen the series, it will be a fabulous day full of ‘oh my goodness that’s the bit where’, if you’re a mixed group with those who have not seen the series it does not matter in the slightest as the places we pass through are incredibly special and can be appreciated by anyone who has a love of beauty, tranquillity, and a timeless landscape which seems to belong in another age.
The very heart of some of England’s finest countryside
This tour takes you into the world James Herriot knew intimately but it also takes you into the very heart of some of England’s finest countryside. The tours are never scripted ‘cookie cutter’ and because it’s private if you want to stop a while longer or walk ‘over there’ it’s nearly always possible if not actively encouraged!
Lunch at a classic Yorkshire Dales Pub
The tour is a full day and we always get out a lot and stop for lunch typically at a classic Yorkshire Dales Pub but because it’s a private tour the choice is always yours.

The price is fixed to the outing. Groups can be up to 7 people, and the price will stay the same regardless of group size
